The Fundición model captures and abstracts the lines of the historic façade of the Real Fábrica de Artillería in Seville. The design synthesizes the building’s industrial identity through a combination of circles and arches, which reinterpret the ancient architectural openings in a play of solids and voids. Structural elements, such as the high base and semi-columns, are decoded into rigorous rectangular bands, creating a solid, rhythmic geometric composition. This rug transforms historical heritage into a modern urban sign, where the memory of stone becomes pure graphic form.
